FBOR’23 Is Coming Into Focus

With two weeks until entries close, FBOR’23 is coming into focus! Two days of spectacular racing including GB squad selection and Mixed Double Ski GB championships! 8th & 9th July 2023.

Entries must close on Thursday 6th July for the major downwind race on the GB Ocean Ski circuit.

FBOR’23 is open to Skis, SUPs and, for the first time Six, Double and Single Ocean Canoes (OC6, OC2, OC1)

Fishguard Bay Ocean Race is a community-based, volunteer-run, non-profit event run by Canoe Wales affiliated club, Pembrokeshire Ocean Paddlers in our ideal location for ocean canoe racing, currently offering the only GB point to point, downwind race outside of Scotland.

On Saturday 8th FBOR’22 hosts the 2023 Welsh Ocean Ski National Championships, which is also a key GB Ocean Racing Team selection. These are all Elite, international level athletes so the pace will be blistering over every inch of the 17km race.

Sunday races on the 9th are still challenging but intended as an enjoyable event for intermediate and advanced ski paddlers and the best Ocean Canoes and SUPs. For the first time we are also hosting the GB Mixed Double Ski Championships to add more excitement and colour to this 13km race.

The very latest Geo Trackers will be issued to all competitors (one per craft) for your safety and so family and friends can track your progress live!
