Less than four weeks to FBOR'25
Just a few of short weeks before the Fishguard Bay Ocean Race, FBOR’25, the most popular event on the Ocean Racing calendar for Pembrokeshire’s stellar coastal scenery and our two days of real point to point, A to B racing.
On Saturday, the Elite Skis and OC6s race across the 17km of open ocean between Goodwick to Newport while the SUP’s fight for supremacy in the Beach Sprint and Technical races at Goodwick.
This year we’ll be celebrating the Saturday Prize Giving with an social evening at Tregroes, with optional meal of Curry or two other choices.
On Sunday, the Open race follows the simpler, 13km open sea route from Goodwick to Newport for Single Skis, OC1, OC2 and Mixed Double Skis.
FBOR’25 is one of the five GB Ocean Racing squad selection races, so you can expect full commitment, no-holds-barred competition from the first flurry of paddles to the final sprint up the beach to the finish line!
Mixed Double Ski in now an official world championship event so you’ll see pairs of Britain’s best making their mark in the Sunday open race.
